wish you were here...

Throughout our lives, we will each make hundreds or thousands of phone calls, send emails, text messages, post on social media, and engage in various other communication activities with the advent of the Information Age.
New terminology emerges daily to define our ever-evolving manner of communication with one another and the global community. The internet has transformed our perception of the world, making it feel akin to a small village. Following global events and engaging in social interactions through our carefully crafted personas on social media provides a sense of bliss from the comfort of our homes. However, these interactions raise questions about their authenticity and whether they truly constitute genuine social interactions.
What remains once our human interactions are stripped of their physical presence, location, and temporal context? What implications does this have for our future as humans?
I believe that this era not only fosters  new type of connections but also redefines the concept of solitude. Is it not being alone?
