Artist Statement:
“ I like to record my memories, clinging to a time and space, I observe myself and everything else changes. Naturally, the subject matter of my artistic experiments is mainly dictated by the flow of my daily life. One might consider it a visual biography. While I am recording, literature, poetry, and everyday objects become my fuel and inspiration to create this multimedia work.
My background as an architect also lends an element of structure to my creative process. I am primarily a printmaker, but often find myself delving into other mediums to communicate my story.
I am originally from Istanbul, Turkiye and I have been living in Seattle for over 20 years with my family.
